Born and raised in the area, David is the Secretary and a trustee of the Charity and also sits on the Investment Committee. He is the retired Managing Partner of a large regional firm of Chartered Accountants and now sits on the management committees of a select number of  businesses in a non-executive capacity. His outside interests include walking and watching the England and Lancashire Cricket teams and Preston North End football club.
